At Woombye Cheese Company we are passionate about cheese. Started by Graeme and Karen Paynter as an escape from corporate life, we have grown and expanded our range as customers all over Australia supported and shared our passion for handmade, artisan cheeses.
Since our first batch in 2013, our range has grown to include Camembert, Triple Cream Brie, Truffle Triple Cream Brie, Blackall Gold (a delicious washed rind cheese), Ash Brie and Vintage Cheddar; which can be found on the menus of some of Australia’s top restaurants.
Like many other foods, cheese can be enjoyed either on its own or as a part of a larger feast; at Woombye Cheese Company we will endeavor to continue to find new and exciting ways to enjoy good quality cheese and will share these ideas with our growing customer base. Woombye Truffle Triple Cream 150g
Selecting the best batches of
their delicious Triple Cream,
Woombye Truffle Triple Cream is
made by cutting the cheese in half
horizontally and adding a layer of
black truffle paste. They are then
further ripened, allowing the truffle
to perfume the paste.

Woombye Ash Brie 200g
Created using the award-winning handmade Triple Cream Brie, Woombye Ash Brie is carefully rolled in ash and repeated during the maturation process. The result is a cheese with a striking black and white appearance in addition to the rich and creamy centre of Triple Cream Brie.
Woombye Blackall Washed Rind 200g
Not out to make an intensely flavoured washed rind cheese, the Paynters have successfully created a cheese with a delicate flavour that will appeal to many palates. The pale orange rind, often blanketed by a fine white mould, is full-flavoured but subtle - just as they intended.
